California Software (Calsoft), founded in 1992 with its headquarters in Chennai, is a global Product Engineering and Enterprise Solutions company with a strong background in development and implementation.

It has established a network of offices across the world and its growing customer base includes several key names such as Cisco, Juniper Networks, Texas Instruments, HP, Johnson and Johnson, Sony, Nortel Networks to name a few. It has development centers in Bangalore and Chennai, Boston, Alameda, Omaha and Pleasanton (in USA). Outside the USA, the company has marketing offices in Copenhagen, Dubai, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Tokyo and India.

Calsoft went public with an IPO in 1996 and is listed in both BSE and NSE.

The company’s aim is to deliver total solutions to customers, technology and product expertise, along with strategic global partnerships and alliances.

Product Engineering Services -

Calsoft provides specialized concept to market Product Engineering Services through its wholly owned subsidiary Calsoft Labs. Calsoft Labs is a pioneer in this space and focuses on carefully chosen market segments – ISVs, New Media Companies, Networking and Datacom OEMs, Computer Hardware and Peripherals Manufacturers, Semiconductor companies and Mobile, Multimedia and Consumer Electronics companies.

In each of these segments, its full lifecycle services include product development, testing and QA, sustenance, embedded engineering services, and embedded systems design. Over the years, the company has developed and tested some of the most complex software products in the world for over 300 highly demanding customers.

Enterprise Solutions -

Calsoft provides enterprise IT solutions through its strategic business unit, Calsoft Enterprise Solutions. Calsoft Enterprise Solutions is a leader in the field of Enterprise Applications, Customer Relationship Management Applications and Enterprise Information Management Applications on Oracle, Microsoft and Siebel products and technologies.

The company assists the customers to realize their full potential by turning data into information, harnessing information, and transforming ideas into action. It focuses on helping its customers build core enterprise capabilities that are fundamental in building a people ready business.

Acquisitions:

2007 - The Company acquired 100% equity stake in International Innovations Inc. USA. International Innovations is a technology consulting company specializing in Enterprise Information Management Solutions

2008 - It acquired the balance 49% in Inatech Infosolutions, thus facilitating Inatech Infosolutions into a wholly owned subsidiary of Calsoft.

Also in the same year, pursuant to the Scheme of Amalgamation between the company and its wholly owned subsidiary -- Webspectrum Software -- sanctioned by the Madras High Court in February 2008, the undertaking Webspectrum software was transferred to the company.

Recent Development:

California software Company (Calsoft) has become a partner of the Intel Consumer Electronics Forum. As a member of this group, Calsoft will have access to the latest Intel technology.

As one of its partners, Calsoft will work closely with Intel Corporation on the latest technology targeted at the consumer electronics market and make it available to customers.
