Kirloskar Pneumatic Company established in 1958 is India’s leading name in Compressed Air, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration and Hydraulic Power Transmission. The company is now a part of Kirloskar group. The manufacturing units of the company are located in Pune, Saswad and Kondhapuri in the state of Maharashtra and Faridabad in the state of Haryana. With effect from April 1, 2001, KPCL got merged into KG Khosla Compressors (an associate company). One equity share of KG Khosla was issued against four equity shares of KPCL. The combined operations were beneficial to KPCL due to synergies of operations, economies of scale and reduction in costs. KPCL was able to manufacture and market its products with under two popular brands viz. KIRLOSKAR and KHOSLA. The Kirloskar group is a $ 1.20 billion engineering conglomerate driving critical industries. It’s a century old pioneers in the areas of specialization like power, construction and mining, agriculture, industry and transport, oil and gas and environment protection with a range of world-class industrial products and turnkey services. The group is made up of 8 major group companies, each led by the best engineering and managerial talent in India. In addition to engineering, it has interests in civic utility systems and in Information Technology and communication. Kirloskar's product line consists of more than 200 series. The Kirloskar Group makes equipment, machinery and high-precision engineering products for the transport sector, including shipbuilding, railways, roads and cargo.
