The company was incorporated as Mitsu Chem Private Limited on September 23, 1988 under the Companies Act, 1956 bearing Registration No. 048925 and having its Registered Office in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The name of the Company was changed to Mitsu Chem Plast Private Limited vide special resolution dated May 11, 2016. Also, vide the same special resolution; the status of the company was changed to a public limited company. A fresh Certificate of Incorporation consequent upon change of name to Mitsu Chem Plast Limited was issued on June 08, 2016 by the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. The company’s blow moulded product portfolio consists of four major segments viz. Industrial Containers, Healthcare Furniture, Automotive components and Infrastructure Furniture. Its injection moulded product portfolio consists of Medical Devices and Accessories for Industrial Containers, Healthcare Furniture and Automotive components. Its products are manufactured under its brand “Mitsu” and the same are sold to various intermediary companies who, after minor value additions and / or modifications supply to various Automobile companies. The company’s industrial packing products like open mouth / wide mouth drums, jerry cans, bottles and varied size containers are currently the preferred choice of some of the top Indian pharmaceutical companies and are also made of 100% food grade materials adhering to 21 CFR norms as per USFDA standards. Its end users include various national and international automobile companies, pharmaceutical & chemical companies, hospitals, and other corporate houses including National Peroxides, Galaxy Surfactants., Castrol India, Thermax, Cipla, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Mylan India, Tata Ficosa and Tata Autocomp Systems, to name a few. Business area of the company The company is an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO TS/16494 (Unit - III) certified polymer based moulded products manufacturing company, engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing of technically driven innovative products catering to growing industry segments like, Industrial Packaging Solutions, Lifestyle Products, Automotive Components, Healthcare Products, Infrastructure related products & Emergency Handling Solutions.
