SNL Bearings (SNL), established in 1983, is engaged in the manufacture and marketing of antifriction bearing products. Formerly known as Shriram Needle Bearing Industries, it acquired its present name with effect from December 21, 2004. The holding company NRB Bearings acquired the company on June 01, 2000. The company serves automobile, general engineering, railway, and electrical equipment industries in the United States, Italy, the United Kingdom, Portugal, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Kenya, and the United Arab Emirates. The ISO 9002 certified company operates in the antifriction bearing industry which is segmented into ball bearings and roller bearings, and offers needle rollers, needle cages, needle bushes, and thrust cages, which find application in gear boxes and propeller shafts, connecting rods, steering systems, chassis and suspensions, and industrial machinery. It has successfully developed and introduced cage-guided drawn cup needle bearings, connecting-rod needle cages for piston pin and crank pin along with other types and ranges of needle bearings. Located at Ranchi in Jharkhand, the manufacturing unit has an installed capacity of 12 million needle roller bushes and cages, and 250 needle rollers. The products of the company are supplied to a customer base comprising of original equipment manufacturers producing motorcycles, scooters, cars and trucks in India, and the company has made successful inroads into the motorcycle, chainsaw, hand tool and other industrial markets worldwide with established customers in USA, Italy, UK, Portugal, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, UAE and Kenya. Some of the domestic customers include Denso India Tractors, Maruti, Mahindra & Mahindra, Mico, Sona Steering, Telco and TAFE in the four-wheeler industry and Bajaj Auto, Kinetic Honda, Kinetic Engineering and LML in the two-wheeler segment. The registered office is at Dhannur, 15, Sir P.M. Road, Fort, Mumbai-400001. Business areas of the company: SNL Bearings operates in the antifriction bearing industry. It offers needle rollers, needle cages, needle bushes, and thrust cages, which are used in gear boxes and propeller shafts, connecting rods, steering systems, chasis and suspension, and industrial machinery. |

Announcement under Regulation 30 (LODR)-Change in Directorate The Board approved the re-appointment of Mr. Claude Alex DGama Rose (DIN No. 01494440) as a Director on the Board of the Company in the category of Non-Executive and Independent Director for a second term of 5 (five) years w.e.f. May 17 2023 based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee subject to the approval of the same at the ensuing 42nd Annual General Meeting of the Company. |

Corporate Action-Board approves Dividend The Board recommended a Final Dividend of Rs. 6.50/- (Rupees Six and Paise Fifty only) i.e. 65% (sixty-five percent) per equity share of Rs. 10.00/- each fully paid up for the financial year ended March 31 2022. The same will be paid out to the Members of the Company within 30 (thirty) days of its approval and declaration by the Members at the ensuing 42nd Annual General Meeting of the Company. |
